He is heard frequently in the Worcester and Boston area as a side man for many local ensembles including appearances with the Fantasy Big Band, The Abeltones, Lou Borelli Octet, Karoun Big Band.<\/p>\n<p>He is in demand as a teacher, clinician, and performer. \u00a0Additionaly, Mr. Jost \u00a0directs the Jazz Ensemble at Assumption College. \u00a0He holds a Masters of Music in Education from the University of Lowell and is recently retired from 36 years of public music education, most recently as Coordinator of Fine Arts with the Westborough Public Schools.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to performing and directing, he enjoys giving instruction on clarinet and saxophone, and is in demand as an adjudicator and clinician for school district music programs. \u00a0<a title=\"David Jost's performance page\" href=\"http:\/\/dnjost.blogspot.com\" target=\"_blank\">dnjost.blogspot.com<\/a>\u00a0. \u00a0Dave Jost also does woodwind repair and restoration.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>DAVE JOST &#8211; Is a woodwind specialist and has been a professional musician for over 40 years.
